Easy as Pi: Raspberry Pi & GPIO with Node JS

I have been working with the Raspberry Pi a lot recently and thought I might share some of the recent resources and discoveries I have made.

Using a Pi is easy! First set yourself aside some time to spend tinkering and get a Pi at www.raspberrypi.org
You can’t rush this stuff and you should enjoy it.

You can work with Pi in may ways. Connect it to a screen through a HTMI or RCA/BNC video or VGA. If you don’t have a spare screen connect with SSH.

I have been using SSH as I have many Pi’s running and don’t want to connect screens all the time or the screens connected are too small to work on.

I have been using NodeJS and Chrome with ReactJS and Node GPIO.

Here’s a great guide to getting started with NodeJS and GPIO on Pi
