XYRay 2.0 was an live art piece that grew out of an installation at the Centre of Contemporary Photography Sydney. The work explored the notion that at our core we are just bones and that gender is irrelevant and anonymous. It was part of an online culture and identity exhibition and originally guided people through the space with an audio guide leading them to the final room where you could become a character on the screen. Version 2.0 was a minimal version of the original with new artwork as part of a rock band event at the Art Bar on Oxford Street Sydney. The new art reflected the venue and the crowd were given glow sticks to wave around to become dancing skeletons on the screen.
